For XÉO XỌ's 2020 Áo dài collection, my inspiration comes from the iconic Hàng Trống folk painting that celebrates the beauty of birds and flowers in Vietnamese culture through a modern style. The quartet paintings feature images of cranes and apricot flowers - pheasants & confederate rose - phoenix & chrysanthemum - peacocks and asian pine trees
