Created for the opening of the new Hermès store in Hanoi, Au Pays des Couleurs reimagines the Vietnamese legend of Saint Gióng through the figure of the mythical horse left behind after the hero's ascension to heaven. Wandering through a surreal dreamlike garden, the horse traverses a landscape where art histories, geographies, and cultural references converge. Drawing on Édouard Glissant's concept of the creole garden, the installation proposes a space where disparate histories and imaginaries coexist without boundaries.
